Hand Blown Mexican Cobalt Rim Glass Pitcher & 4 Tumblers, Vintage
Hand blown Mexican glassware set in the classic cobalt blue rim style, comprising a generous pitcher and four matching tumblers. The pitcher carries a wide flared lip, applied blue handle, and a pronounced pulled spout, with a rough pontil at the base marking its mouth-blown origin. Scattered seed bubbles run through the clear body — the signature trace of free-blown work rather than molded production.
The four tumblers each repeat the saturated blue band at the rim over clear walls and thick bases. This is the everyday tableware of central Mexican glassworks — durable, warm in the hand, and built for daily use at the table. The set is unmarked, consistent with the region's workshop tradition.
CONDITION
Good with no damage. Minor seed bubbles and surface irregularities are inherent to the hand-blown process, not flaws. Rough pontil at the pitcher base as made.
