Wallace Silversmiths Sterling Silver "Sterling Memories" Angel Ornament, 1990
A sterling silver angel ornament from Wallace Silversmiths' "Sterling Memories" Christmas series, modeled in relief with a robed, winged figure standing with hands clasped at the waist. The repoussé work captures detailed feather scaling on the outstretched wings, a patterned collar, and softly draped vestments, finished with an integral bale and jump ring for hanging. The reverse carries the Wallace hallmark and "STERLING" stamp.
Wallace introduced its "Sterling Memories" line of solid sterling holiday ornaments in 1990 out of Boston, Massachusetts, offering collectible figural pieces meant to be added to the tree year after year. This example comes complete with its original silver presentation box, blue Wallace Sterling anti-tarnish soft bag, and documentation booklet — a full set as issued.
