Chatillon Type-0024 Hanging Dial Scale, 30 Lbs. — Chrome & Red Pointer
A hanging spring dial scale by Chatillon of New York, U.S.A., the maker behind the produce, hardware, and general-store countertops of mid-century America. The chromed steel housing holds a clean white dial reading Capacity 30 Lbs. × 1 Oz., marked Type-0024 with Temperature Compensated Springs and a bold red sweep pointer. Top swivel hook and lower drop loop are intact for suspending a pan or basket.
The dual-direction numbering and oversized digits made these readable across a busy counter, and the chrome-and-red palette has kept them desirable as kitchen and shop décor long past their working lives. Tested and fully functional.
CONDITION
