Orion Paragon HD-F2 Field Tripod with Fluid Pan Head & QR Plate
Heavy-duty aluminum field tripod from Orion Telescopes & Binoculars, model Paragon HD-F2 (#5370), built for spotting scopes, binoculars, and astronomical instruments. The two-axis fluid pan head includes a graduated azimuth scale, an adjustable pan handle with foam grip, and a spring-loaded quick-release mounting shoe with a 1/4"-20 threaded post for fast instrument changes. A rack-and-pinion elevator column with hand crank and friction adjustment handles fine height control.
The black anodized legs extend through twist-lock sections and brace against a center spreader for stability on uneven ground. Tension and friction knobs on each axis let you dial in the ease of motion for tracking terrestrial or celestial targets. The original instruction sheet is included. Maker mark appears on the leg as shown in the reference images.
CONDITION
Good. Scuffing and previous signs of use throughout, with visible scuffing to the anodized surfaces and head. Mechanisms function as intended; rubber feet show expected wear.
