Description

Polka, Square Dance & Old-Time Dance LP Lot — Whoopee John, Lawrence Welk, Eddie Habat, 20 Albums

A single-owner run of 20 LPs weighted toward polka, waltz, and old-time dance music, most acquired in the 1960s and 1970s. Spines identify a working dance-floor collection: Walter Dombkowski and His Polka Kings of Philadelphia, Whoopee John Wilfahrt's Orchestra (multiple titles including "Polkas, Waltzes, Schottisches"), Eddie Habat and His Orchestra ("Happy Polkas," "Polka Fun for Everyone"), Stan Wolowic and the Polka Chips, Lou Prohut ("Another Round of Polkas"), and Lawrence Welk and His Champagne Music ("Pick-a-Polka," CRL 57067).

The square-dance and orchestral side rounds out the lot with Cliffie Stone ("Square Dance Promenade"), Tommy Jackson ("Square Dances Without Calls," DL 8950), and a Strauss Family / Boston Pops, Fiedler waltz title. Labels run across Decca, ABC-Paramount, and Coral. Exact title-by-title accounting beyond the visible spines is not confirmed — buyers should treat the spine images as the working inventory.

CONDITION

Good overall and graded Playable, as shown. Single-owner collection with no unpleasant odors. Jackets show age toning, edge and spine wear, and shelf handling consistent with use from the 1960s and 1970s; individual sleeve condition varies across the stack.
