DLR German Astronaut Team Signed Photo — Ewald, Reiter, Brümmer, Thiele
Color photograph of four DLR (Deutsche Forschungsanstalt für Luft- und Raumfahrt) astronauts in the agency's blue flight suits, posed before a large satellite dish marked with the DLR logo. The image was produced by the DLR Zentrales Fotolabor at Linder Höhe, Köln, with the facility's ink stamp on the verso. Each crew member has signed the photo in blue and black ink across the upper right and lower left.
This group represents the German cosmonaut and astronaut corps active in the 1990s, several of whom flew aboard the Russian Mir station and the Space Shuttle. The four blue-suited figures correspond to the DLR selection that produced flight veterans including Reinhold Ewald, Thomas Reiter, and Gerhard Thiele; the signatures should be individually matched to confirm each identity before publish.
