Billy Joel Vinyl LP Trio — The Stranger (×2) & Streetlife Serenade, Columbia
Three Columbia pressings from Billy Joel's mid-to-late 1970s run, single-owner copies acquired in the period. The group includes two copies of The Stranger (Columbia 34987, 1977) — the breakout album carrying "Movin' Out (Anthony's Song)," "Just the Way You Are," "Only the Good Die Young," and "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant" — paired with Streetlife Serenade (Columbia PC 33146, 1974), home to "The Entertainer" and "Root Beer Rag," with its Brian Hagiwara front-cover painting.
Both jackets retain the familiar imagery: the mask-and-boxing-glove bedroom photograph for The Stranger and the streetscape canvas for Streetlife Serenade, with the seated-band restaurant scene and barefoot chair portrait on the respective backs. A solid working set spanning two pivotal records in Joel's catalog.
CONDITION
Good overall and playable as shown. Jackets show edge and corner wear, surface scuffing, and ringwear consistent with single-owner storage; the second The Stranger copy shows heavier surface marking to the front. No unpleasant odors. Records sold as a group;
