Description

Country, Western & Vocal Group LP Lot of 20 — Mills Brothers, McGuire Sisters, Ernest Tubb, The Ventures

Group of 20 vintage LPs drawn from a single-owner collection, most acquired in the 1960s and 1970s. The lot leans toward country, western, and classic vocal-group material. Identifiable spines include Golden Country Hits, Vol. II, Country Spectacular, The Ventures Play the Country Classics (Dolton), Country Dance Time — Ernest Tubb's Texas Troubadours (Decca DL 4644), Favorite Cowboy Songs — The Sons of the Pioneers (LPM-1130), Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers Band (Columbia EC 37464), Fancy Fiddlin' Country Style, The Best of the Ames Brothers (RCA LSP-1859e), His and Hers — The McGuire Sisters, The Best of the McGuire Sisters (Coral CRL 57337), The Best of the Andrews Sisters, and two copies of Our Golden Favorites — The Mills Brothers (Decca DL 4084).

Labels represented across the stack include Decca, Columbia, Harmony (HL 7391), Capitol (T 1735), Coral, MCA, Shasta, Cub (8008), and Dolton. A solid play-and-fill or starter lot weighted toward mid-century vocal harmony and country.

CONDITION

Good overall and graded as a working lot. Jackets show edge wear, spine splits, ring wear, and age toning consistent with the era; several spines are faded or scuffed. Records are playable as shown. No unpleasant odors. Sold as a single-owner group, as pictured.
