Rustic Pine Two-Tier Console Table with Lower Shelf
A straightforward, shop-built pine console table in a farmhouse-rustic style, constructed from knotty pine boards finished in a warm medium-brown stain. The design is intentionally simple: four square legs joined by a full-length lower shelf and a flat top surface, assembled with visible screws throughout. The pronounced grain, knots, and coarse texture of the pine are characteristic of this style — functional and unfussy, built for an entryway, hallway, or behind a sofa.
No maker's mark or label identified. Construction is consistent with small-shop or custom hand-built work rather than mass production. The narrow 10½" depth and slim profile make it well-suited to tight spaces where a standard console would intrude. Lightweight and easy to move.
CONDITION
Fair. Frame is noticeably wobbly — joinery has loosened and the piece lacks structural rigidity. Surface is coarse in texture throughout, consistent with unfinished or lightly finished pine rather than a sanded and sealed surface. Some minor scuffs and wear to the top consistent with use.
