Sam Donaldson Signed 3" x 5" Index Card — ABC News Anchor Autograph
Autograph of veteran ABC News correspondent and anchor Sam Donaldson, executed in blue ballpoint on a plain cream index card. The bold, sweeping signature carries the confident hand familiar from his decades at the network's White House beat.
Donaldson built his reputation as one of network television's most persistent White House correspondents, covering administrations from Nixon through Clinton and co-anchoring PrimeTime Live and This Week. The connection runs closer to home than most buyers realize: Donaldson was born and raised in El Paso, Texas, attended New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell, and graduated from Texas Western College (now UTEP) — making him as much a product of the Mesilla Valley borderland as any figure in American broadcast history. This card comes directly from the collection of the individual who personally acquired the autograph, and the lot includes a certificate of authenticity issued by Mesilla Valley Estate Sales as well as a signed letter from the original acquirer attesting to the circumstances of the signing.
CONDITION
Very Good. Signature is bold and fully legible with no fading or smearing. Card is clean with light ink show-through to the verso and minor handling only.
