Robert C. Springer Signed 3x5 Index Card — NASA Space Shuttle Astronaut
Cut signature on a plain 3" × 5" index card, boldly inked in black, "Robert C. Springer." Robert Clyde Springer (b. 1942) is a retired U.S. Marine Corps colonel and NASA astronaut who flew two Space Shuttle missions: STS-29 aboard Discovery in March 1989 and STS-38 aboard Atlantis in November 1990, the latter a dedicated Department of Defense flight. A faint secondary signature impression shows through on the verso.
A clean, display-ready autograph from the Shuttle program's busy late-1980s era, well suited to matting alongside a mission patch or crew photo. The signature is large and unobstructed across the card face. A Certificate of Authenticity issued by Mesilla Valley Estate Sales is included with this lot.
CONDITION
Very Good. Card is clean and bright with crisp ink and no creasing or staining on the signed face. A light pencil notation shows faintly through to the verso.
