James F. Reilly II NASA Astronaut Signed Card — "Believe in Your Dreams!" Inscription
A personal autograph card inscribed "To Adam, Believe in your dreams!" and signed by James F. Reilly II, NASA mission specialist and veteran of two Space Shuttle flights — STS-89 (1998) and STS-104 (2001). The inscription is rendered in block-style capitals, the signature below in a fluid script hand, both in black ink on cream card stock. The writing shows faintly through to the blank verso, a natural consequence of the card's weight.
Reilly, a geologist and oceanographer before joining the astronaut corps, logged over 854 hours in space and performed six spacewalks totaling more than 25 hours. The lot reference "Nasa61C" places this card within a curated aerospace autograph grouping. A Certificate of Authenticity issued by Mesilla Valley Estate Sales is included with the lot.
CONDITION
Very Good. Card stock is clean and bright with no creasing, staining, or tears. Ink remains dark and legible; faint show-through to the blank verso is the only notable trait.
