Contemporary Fused Black Glass Low Bowl with Dichroic Confetti Rim
A wide, shallow art glass bowl in deep jet black with a rhythmic band of dichroic glass confetti running around the interior rim. The decoration alternates tall rectangles and small diamonds in shifting metallic hues — magenta, cyan, gold, blue, green, orange — that flash and shift color depending on the viewing angle, a hallmark of true dichroic coated glass fused into the surface rather than applied on top.
The form is hand-slumped from fused sheet glass, with a gently dished profile and a smooth fire-polished edge. Reads as a presentation or centerpiece bowl — equally at home as a fruit bowl, key catch, or wall-mounted statement piece against a lit background where the dichroic band can do its work.
CONDITION
Excellent. No chips, cracks, or scratches. Dichroic inlay is bright and fully intact around the entire circumference.
