NASA Apollo 11 Liftoff "The Moment of Truth" Color Photographic Print
A color photographic print capturing the Apollo 11 space vehicle rising to clear the launch tower at Kennedy Space Center's Pad 39A. The Saturn V climbs on a column of flame and steam, the red service structure receding beside it, the rocket's UNITED STATES and USA markings sharp against the morning sky. A vertical NASA wordmark runs the left margin in the publisher's house style.
Liftoff occurred at 9:32 a.m. EDT on July 16, 1969, carrying Neil A. Armstrong, Michael Collins, and Edwin E. Aldrin, Jr. toward lunar orbit and the first manned lunar landing. The reverse carries the NASA meatball insignia, the printed caption "The Moment of Truth for Apollo 11," and the publisher's line crediting Impact, catalog #16426, printed in Japan. A licensed commemorative print rather than a vintage press photo.
CONDITION
Very Good. Image is bright with strong color and clean borders; the reverse caption block and insignia are crisp. Light handling expected at the edges.
