Swarovski Silver Crystal "Hedgehog Large" Figurine with Original Box, Austria
Faceted lead crystal hedgehog from Swarovski Silver Crystal, the company's flagship collectible line introduced in 1976. The body is composed of dozens of individually inserted clear crystal spines radiating from a smooth molded form, with three small black crystal cabochons forming the eyes and nose. The underside carries the Swarovski swan logo (early block-letter "SWAROVSKI" mark, indicating pre-1989 production) and a foil label reading Art. 7630 NR 070 000, >30% Pbo, MADE IN AUSTRIA.
Designed by Adi Stocker and first issued in 1976, the Large Hedgehog (Art. 7630/70) was among the earliest figurines in the Silver Crystal line and became one of the most recognizable pieces in the series. Retains its original silver-printed cylindrical Swarovski Silver Crystal presentation box.
CONDITION
Good with no damage noted. Spines are intact and the crystal is bright and clear throughout. Original box shows light shelf wear to the printed silver exterior.
