Lalique France Frosted Crystal Dragon Figurine, Signed
A compact frosted crystal dragon from Lalique France, rendered in the maison's signature combination of satin-finished and polished crystal surfaces. The figure depicts a coiled dragon — head raised, chest forward, tail fanned — with deeply articulated scale work and ridged spine detailing that catches light against the frosted body mass. Polished accents at the head, claws, and tail fin amplify the interplay between opacity and clarity that defines Lalique's animal sculptural vocabulary.
The underside is polished and carries the etched script signature Lalique France, confirming post-1945 production. At just over three inches, the piece is dense in the hand — 200.5 grams of solid crystal — and reads with considerably more presence than its footprint suggests.
