Murano Hand-Blown Art Glass Turtle Figurine in Black, Orange & Yellow

A spirited hand-blown art glass turtle with an exuberant upturned head, open mouth, and bright cobalt-and-white millefiori eyes. The domed shell is the showpiece — opaque black glass cased in clear, decorated with combed and feathered orange and yellow trails pulled into a symmetrical pinwheel pattern that radiates from the crown of the carapace. The head, legs, and tail are formed in heavy clear crystal with internal amber striations, giving the body a watery, suspended quality against the boldly graphic shell.

The construction is consistent with Murano decorative glass animal tradition — heavy solid build, cased coloration, and pulled-thread shell decoration executed with the precision characteristic of Venetian lampwork.
