Lladró "Sailor" Matte Bisque Porcelain Figurine, Model 4657

A tall, composed study of a seafaring man in a wide-brimmed hat, long coat, and high boots, leaning against a banded wooden bollard with hands tucked into his pockets. The figure is executed in Lladró's matte bisque finish, the signature unglazed treatment that softens the palette into chalky whites, dove grays, and pale flesh tones. The sculptor's attention to the weathered face — furrowed brow, sunken cheeks, distant upward gaze — gives the piece a quiet, contemplative weight that sets it apart from the firm's more decorative output.

The underside carries the printed Lladró backstamp, "Hand Made in Spain," along with incised mold numerals.
