Dazor Floating-Arm Magnifier Lamp on Rolling Stand, Model SMC-300
A Dazor floating-arm illuminated magnifier mounted to a four-leg rolling caster base, manufactured by Dazor Mfg. Corp. of St. Louis, Missouri. The signature spring-balanced articulating arm allows fingertip positioning of the magnifying head without locking — a hallmark of Dazor's professional task lighting since the 1940s. The lens hood houses a circline fluorescent tube surrounding the magnifying lens, designed for bench work, inspection, jewelry, electronics assembly, medical exam, and detailed craft applications.
The white enameled steel column rises from a four-arm wheeled base, providing mobility around a workspace or exam room. Maker-marked label intact under the head. Tested and fully functional. Includes original Dazor instruction sheet for floating-arm balance, tube installation, and operation.
