A rectangular wall mirror in a solid wood frame by Ethan Allen by Baumritter, made in Vermont. The frame profile runs a soft outer bevel into a flat inner face — substantial enough to anchor a wall, restrained enough to stay out of the way of everything around it. Warm medium-brown finish, clean mitered corners, and no applied ornament. Designed to hang horizontally, the proportions land squarely in the range that works above a dresser, console, or sideboard without crowding the wall.
Economy class.
The buyer for this piece already has a room in mind. Maybe it's the guest bedroom that never quite came together, or the entryway console that's been waiting on the right mirror for two years.
