1986-S U.S. Liberty Coins Two-Coin Set — Silver Dollar & Clad Half Dollar
1986-S United States Liberty Coins commemorative two-coin set, issued by the U.S. Mint to mark the centennial of the Statue of Liberty (1886–1986). The set comprises a 90% silver Statue of Liberty Commemorative Dollar designed by John Mercanti (obverse) and John Mercanti and Matthew Peloso (reverse), paired with a copper-nickel clad Statue of Liberty Commemorative Half Dollar designed by Edgar Z. Steever (obverse) and Sherl J. Winter (reverse). Both coins were struck at the San Francisco Mint and carry the S mint mark, located on the obverse of each coin.
