1978 United States Mint Proof Set, a six-coin set struck at the San Francisco Mint and packaged by the U.S. Mint in its original hard plastic lens with black outer sleeve. The set contains the Lincoln Memorial Cent (designed by Victor D. Brenner / Frank Gasparro reverse), Jefferson Nickel (Felix Schlag), Roosevelt Dime (John R. Sinnock), Washington Quarter (John Flanagan), Kennedy Half Dollar (Gilroy Roberts / Frank Gasparro reverse), and Eisenhower Dollar (Frank Gasparro). All six coins bear the S mint mark of the San Francisco Assay Office.
