Ethan Allen by Baumritter Maple Twin Spindle Headboard with Mattress & Frame
An Ethan Allen by Baumritter Early American twin headboard in solid maple, branded "Made in Vermont" on the reverse. The crown rail rises in a soft serpentine arc above a row of eight turned spindles, flanked by scrolled side returns that wrap down to a deep storage-style headboard panel — a hallmark of Baumritter's Heirloom and Nutmeg collections from the mid-twentieth century. The warm honey-maple finish, hand-turned baluster spindles, and clean joinery all point to the company's Vermont-era output, before the Ethan Allen brand fully separated from its Baumritter parent.
The lot includes the wooden headboard together with a NapQueen Victoria 10-inch Hybrid twin mattress (manufactured November 2022, assembled April 2023) and a white powder-coated steel platform bed frame with adjustable legs. This is the configuration the consignor used in the home — a complete, ready-to-sleep twin set.
CONDITION
Very Good. No damage; sturdy and sound throughout with gentle signs of use and minor surface imperfections consistent with age. Spindles, scrollwork, and maker's brand all present and crisp. Mattress is clean and recent; metal frame is solid and functional.
