Ethan Allen Heirloom Nutmeg Maple Louvered Cabinet, Early American Style
A solid maple cabinet from Ethan Allen's long-running Heirloom collection, finished in the company's signature Nutmeg tone. The case features a single full-width drawer with four false-front dividers across the top, opening over a pair of louvered shutter doors on cast iron H-hinges that conceal an adjustable interior shelf. Brass acorn-style pulls, a plinth base, and the substantial weight of true hardwood construction throughout — this is the kind of casework Ethan Allen built to outlast the room it was bought for.
The Heirloom line, introduced in the 1930s by Baumritter and carried forward under the Ethan Allen name, defined the American Colonial Revival look for half a century. Drawer interior is branded Ethan Allen; case back is stamped 10-4511 / NUTMEG 211 / PLT. 3. Versatile footprint — works as a hall cabinet, entry storage, compact server, or bedside chest where a deeper piece is needed.
CONDITION
Good with light signs of use throughout. Finish remains warm and even across the top and sides; hardware is intact and doors operate smoothly on their original iron hinges. Very heavy quality construction.
