He's been standing here, head tilted back, mouth open, peace sign raised, waiting for someone to hand him a drink. And the thing is — you want to. You walk in, you see this guy, and your first instinct is to crack open a cold one and put it in his hand. That's not an accident. That's sculpture doing exactly what it was designed to do: stop you cold, make you laugh, and refuse to be ignored.

Cast in hollow aluminum — substantial enough to command a room, light enough at 45 lbs to actually move when you need to — this 62-inch alien greeter is finished in high-gloss Martian green with an obsidian-black faux-meteorite base. The anatomical modeling is unexpectedly committed: ribcage articulation, sinewy tendons at the knees, elongated webbed hands and feet, a spine rendered down the full length of the back. From the front he's theatrical. From the back he's genuinely strange. The right hand is cupped specifically to cradle a standard beverage can — a detail that makes him a permanent fixture in every photo taken in the room. We're about ninety miles south of Roswell. This guy didn't crash-land here. He walked in on his own, and he's been greeting people ever since.

CONDITION

Good overall. Cosmetic wear consistent with display use: scratches and scuffing distributed across the green finish, concentrated paint loss and fading to the back of the head, and scuffing to the rear left shoulder. The black base shows edge wear and minor chipping. Structurally sound; stands securely without support.
