Published by Think Fast Ink of Oak Park, Illinois, this hardcover first edition (June 2006) continues the adventures of narrator-hero Buddy Palumbo and the motor-mad gang from Finzio's Sinclair, set against the backdrop of late-1950s and early-1960s American sports car racing. The dust jacket carries the distinctive Ferrari-red cover art with the spectral driver motif that gives the book its title.
