Singer Touch-Tronic 2000 Memory Machine with Carrying Bag & Manual
The Singer Touch-Tronic 2000 arrived in 1978 as one of the first electronically controlled, programmable home sewing machines on the market — a piece of late-1970s engineering ambition with a row of red LED stitch indicators and push-button selection across the top panel. The cream housing with black accent panel and brushed aluminum trim is pure end-of-the-decade industrial design, and the memory machine badge on the pillar still reads crisply.
The lot includes the machine, the original Singer Solid State foot pedal (Model CR 508, made in Elizabeth, N.J.), the embossed brown vinyl Singer carrying bag with twin handles, and the Touch-Tronic 2000 Operator's Guide with its memorable circuit-board cover graphic. Tested and fully functional. The top stitch selector panel shows the full range of utility and decorative stitches the 2000 was known for, including stretch stitches and embroidery patterns.
CONDITION
Good and fully functional. Tested and operating. Signs of use throughout including light surface scuffing to the cream housing and wear to the vinyl carrying bag. Operator's guide shows handling wear. Foot pedal cord intact.
