Description

Vintage Mattel Masters of the Universe Lot — Bashasaurus, Road Ripper, Man-At-Arms & Skeletor, 1981–1983

A four-piece grouping of original Mattel Masters of the Universe playthings from the height of the He-Man era, including two major vehicles, the original Skeletor figure, and a Man-At-Arms figure mounted in his Road Ripper land craft. Date stamps on the pieces range from 1981 to 1983, placing the lot within the first three years of the MOTU line — the period most collectors target.

The lot includes the Bashasaurus (1985-released, mold-dated 1983 Mattel Mexico), a green dinosaur-tank hybrid with rocking arm and three red skull-crested projectiles; the Road Ripper ripcord land vehicle (1983, Mattel U.S.A.) with the original Man-At-Arms figure (Mattel Inc. 1981 Taiwan) seated at the controls; a blue and orange tracked battle vehicle (likely the Bionatops or related second-wave Eternia vehicle — confirm ID before publish); and the classic Skeletor figure (Mattel Inc. 1981 Taiwan) with purple half-armor and ram-head staff. Stickers remain largely intact across all vehicles, and the figures retain strong paint with crisp factory detail.

CONDITION

Good overall with age-appropriate play wear. The Road Ripper shows a broken/repaired tab near the cockpit with adhesive residue and edge tearing to one sticker, and the orange console panel is detached but present. Figures show light surface soiling and minor scuffing; Skeletor's armor and Man-At-Arms' harness are intact. Vehicles retain stickers with light edge lift in places.
