Framed Desert Scene Metal Wall Art — Roadrunner, Saguaros & Sun
A boldly colored cut-steel wall sculpture depicting a classic Chihuahuan desert tableau: a strutting roadrunner flanked by two saguaros, a prickly pear and barrel cacti at ground level, and a flaring sun overhead. The composition sits inside a heavy steel shadow-box frame with cut-out swirl and line motifs along each side, the whole assembly welded and riveted from sheet stock. Heat-bluing and torch-applied color give each element its painterly gradient — turquoise to chartreuse on the left saguaro, plum on the prickly pear, rainbow flanks on the roadrunner, and a fiery red-orange sun.
Steel construction throughout, unmarked, free-standing or wall-mountable. The dimensional layering — frame, ground plane, and figures welded at varying depths — gives the piece real presence in raking light. Suited to a covered patio, casita wall, or interior accent where the colorwork can carry a room.
CONDITION
Good. A dent is present on the verso that does not affect the front-facing art. Light scuffing and small surface marks scattered across the frame and figures consistent with handling. No remarkable damage.
