Description

Nambe Mid-Century Aluminum #210 Tray & #568 Sculptural Bowl

Pair of vintage Nambe cast aluminum serveware pieces, including the #210 rectangular handled tray and #568 sculptural bowl. Both are crafted in Nambe’s signature proprietary aluminum alloy, renowned for its mirror-bright polish, heat retention, and enduring durability. The #210 dish features ornate pierced handles with a modernist flourish, while the #568 bowl presents a sleek teardrop profile with an elongated spout-like end — an iconic Nambe form often attributed to mid-century designs from Pojoaque, New Mexico.

Stamped “NAMBE 210” and “By NAMBE 568”, these examples date from approximately the 1960s–1970s, prior to Nambe’s switch to lower-case branding in 1981. Both retain high luster with typical light surface wear from age and use. Timeless in form and function, they exemplify Nambe’s award-winning modern design — equally suited for serving, display, or collection.

Condition

In good vintage condition overall with surface scratches and mild wear consistent with age and use. Both pieces remain bright and reflective with no dents or cracks. Undersides bear original model stamps; partial care label intact on the #210 dish.

Nambe pieces of this era were hand-cast in New Mexico, each finished by skilled artisans. The alloy composition allows use in oven, broiler, or freezer, and their biomorphic silhouettes make them icons of American mid-century design.
