Libbey Glass Apple Pattern Goblets by Franciscan, Set of 10 — Near Mint
Set of ten footed clear glass goblets decorated with hand-painted red apples and green leaves on a branching brown stem — the motif produced by Libbey Glass to companion Franciscan Apple dinnerware, one of the most collected American ceramic patterns of the mid-20th century. Each goblet features a bulbous, ribbed stem above a flared disc foot.
The apple motif is rendered with confident, multi-tonal brushwork — deep crimson layered over russet, with striated highlights suggesting a practiced hand rather than a decal or transfer. The set presents as cohesive and well-matched across all ten pieces, with decoration remaining bright and sharp throughout.
CONDITION
Near Mint across the set. No remarkable damage noted. Paint remains bright with minimal wear; the set shows little evidence of regular use.
