Floor Vase with Carved Teak Leaf Stems
A tall, urn-form floor vase by Nuart paired with a set of carved teak leaf stems for sculptural display. The vase is cast plaster with a textured, lichen-green surface that transitions into a smooth, fluted scallop collar at the shoulder and a flared, ribbed neck. The body's matte aggregate finish reads almost like weathered stone, while the molded relief at the top catches light cleanly.
The arrangement includes six removable hand-carved teak stems — four broad, veined leaves and two slender pointed shoots — each finished in a warm honey tone that plays against the cool green of the vessel. The stems lift out for transport or independent display. Marked Nuart 2009 on the vase.
CONDITION
Good overall. Minor scuffing near the bottom of the vase and small chips scattered through the molded relief. No remarkable damage; the piece displays well at scale.
