Vintage Carousel King Carousel Gumball Machine on Cast Iron Pedestal Stand
A full-size Carousel Industries "King Carousel" gumball machine mounted atop a fluted cast iron pedestal stand, bringing the soda fountain and barbershop vibe straight into a home game room or retail counter. The red die-cast metal base houses an embossed silver-tone face plate stamped CAROUSEL with cherubs, scrollwork, and bubble motifs framing the coin slot and turn knob. A clear glass globe sits above, currently filled with a colorful assortment of gumballs.
The stand elevates the machine to adult eye level on a tripod cast iron foot with scrolled toes and a fluted, banded column finished in gloss black. Made in Taiwan for Carousel Industries, Inc., Morton Grove, Illinois — the original American distributor that put these reproduction-style globe machines into pizza parlors, dentist offices, and rec rooms across the country from the 1980s onward. Tested and fully functional; turn the knob and a gumball drops.
CONDITION
Good and fully functional. Tested and operating as intended. Light surface wear to the painted finishes and minor cloudiness to the glass globe interior consistent with use. Gumballs included as shown but not guaranteed for consumption.
