Distressed Indian Painted Wood & Glass Wall-Mount Display Cabinet, Cream Over Blue

A large, wall-mountable display cabinet built from solid wood with four hinged glass-panel doors, the frame finished in a layered cream-over-blue paint scheme worn through decades of use to a naturally distressed, sea-glass patina. Three forged iron ring hangers along the top edge are sized for heavy-duty wall mounting. Construction is straightforward and sturdy — paneled plank back, mortised frame, simple iron pulls and hinges, where vintage window-and-cabinet units are commonly repurposed for the Western decorative trade. A circular ink stamp on the back panel reads EPIC.

Interior is divided by a single fixed shelf running the full length, giving two display registers behind each pair of doors. The proportions — nearly 40" tall, just over six feet wide, and a shallow 8.5" deep — make this a natural fit above a sideboard, console, or kitchen counter, or as a standalone curio wall. The worn paint reads strongly as farmhouse, coastal, or boho depending on the room it lands in.

CONDITION

Good, Rustic By Design. Paint loss, chipping, and weathered patina throughout the exterior frame and doors are original to the piece and central to its visual appeal. All four doors open and close on their hinges; glass panels are intact. Interior shelf and back panels show age-toned wood with paint residue along the shelf edges.
