Yamaha DD-55 Digital Percussion Tabletop Drum Pad with Power Adapter

The Yamaha DD-55 is a compact tabletop digital drum unit with seven velocity-sensitive pads — five larger play pads and two smaller cymbal-style pads flanking the array — plus built-in stereo speakers, an LCD display, and onboard controls for kit selection, song playback, tempo, and part muting. The hexagonal silver chassis houses perforated speaker grilles on both flanks and a centrally mounted control panel with a multifunction rotary dial, part mute buttons for Hand Perc, Drum 1, Drum 2, Drum 3, and Backing channels, and transport controls including Record, Start/Stop, Break/Tap, and A-B Repeat. A dedicated Preset Tempo slider and Click/Demo indicators complete the front panel. The unit handles hand percussion or stick play and supports General MIDI for connection to external sound sources or sequencers.

The DD-55 shipped with 287 built-in voices, 10 drum kits, and 100 preset songs with an additional recording function that allows a user to capture a performance and loop it back for practice or performance layering. The A-B Repeat function lets players loop a section of a backing song for focused practice — a feature that made this unit a genuine practice tool as much as a performance pad. Tested and fully functional, with strong sound output through the integrated speakers. Includes the original Yamaha AC power adapter. Sticks, pedals, and additional accessories are not included.

CONDITION

Good and fully functional. Tested with great functionality. Pad surfaces show stick marks and scuff wear consistent with regular use; housing is clean with light handling marks only.
