Vintage Set of 6 Apple Green Enameled Steel Dinner Plates with Black Rims

Set of six enameled steel dinner plates in bold apple green with contrasting black rim banding. Unmarked. Classic bistro silhouette with a wide flat rim and shallow well — the kind of plate that anchors a farmhouse table, an outdoor setting, or a bohemian kitchen shelf display.

Solid-color enamelware with clean dark rim banding is a form with deep production history across Europe and Latin America. Consistent with mid-century enamelware, likely French in origin given the color palette and rim treatment.

CONDITION

Good to Fair overall with age-appropriate wear. Utensil scratching throughout the wells, light chipping to the black rim banding on several pieces, and one plate shows a more pronounced section of edge chipping along the rim. Enamel surfaces remain glossy and color is strong across the set.
