Victorian Walnut Oval Marble Top Parlor Table on Casters
Victorian parlor table with a removable oval Carrara-style marble top resting on a molded walnut apron. The base features four shaped and incise-carved cabriole supports flanking a turned central drop finial, terminating on original brass cup casters. The pierced lyre-form standards and turned spindle give the piece the classic Renaissance Revival silhouette of the 1870s–1880s.
CONDITION
Good overall and structurally sturdy. Two previous repairs are present to the wooden apron, with visible filler and seam separation along the molded edge as shown in the supplemental reference images. Marble top is intact with natural veining and light surface soiling consistent with age.
