Antique Blue & White Swirl Graniteware Enamel Cookware, 5 Pieces
Five-piece grouping of antique blue and white swirl graniteware, the marbled enamel pattern flowing across each form with strong contrast and depth. The set includes a bail-handled kettle with matching domed lid, a deep saucepan with long handle, a stacking double boiler with lid, a wide low bowl, and a rectangular baking pan with shaped rim corners.
Graniteware of this type was a workhorse of late 19th and early 20th century American kitchens, and the swirled blue palette remains among the most collected. The forms here mix utility shapes with one decorative bail-handled kettle that displays well on open shelving.
CONDITION
Fair overall. All pieces show chipping throughout, with enamel loss along rims, base points, and high-wear edges; the wide bowl has interior chips with exposed metal at center and rim. Surfaces retain strong color and pattern despite the wear.
