Anchor Hocking Manhattan Pattern Ribbed Glass Handled Bowls, Set of 13
A set of thirteen clear pressed-glass cream soup or berry bowls in the Manhattan pattern by Anchor Hocking, characterized by concentric horizontal ribs and distinctive squared open double-tab handles. The Art Deco–influenced design was produced from the late 1930s into the 1940s and remains one of the most recognizable Depression-era patterns in clear glass.
All thirteen bowls are unmarked, as is typical for the pattern. Uniform in size and form, they stack neatly and present well as a service set or for resale broken into smaller groupings.
CONDITION
Good overall with signs of use and utensil wear consistent with age. No chips or cracks noted in staff inspection; minor surface scuffing visible on interiors under raking light.
