Stone Age Creations Granite Boulder Birdbath, Two-Piece Natural Stone
Substantial natural granite boulder birdbath from Stone Age Creations, LTD, hand-carved from a single field boulder with the exterior left in its raw weathered state. The oval basin is hollowed and smoothed to a soft matte finish, contrasting against the rust, ochre, and gray mineral patina of the untouched outer surfaces. The bowl rests atop a tapered boulder pedestal, with both sections separating for transport and placement.
The two-piece construction allows the bath to be moved in manageable components and reassembled on site. Natural color variation and stone character differ from the example shown on the manufacturer's reference page, as each piece is individually quarried and shaped.
CONDITION
Good overall. Basin interior is clean and intact with expected tooling marks from carving. Exterior shows natural weathering, mineral staining, and minor edge irregularities consistent with the raw boulder character of the design — not defects.
