Ethan Allen "Giselle" Louis XVI-Style Bergère Chair, Ikat
Ethan Allen "Giselle" bergère armchair, Style #13-7113, with Italian carved wood frames in the Louis XVI taste. The frame features crisp laurel-and-ribbon carving along the crest rail, egg-and-dart molding on the apron, rosette corner blocks, and fluted tapered legs ending in turned feet. Scrolled open arms with reeded carving and bullseye terminals. Self-decked construction with upholstery continuing to the outer back and sides.
Upholstered in a woven crimson and straw tapestry ikat with down-filled loose seat cushions. Ethan Allen Home Interiors care label present beneath the cushion, consistent with production in the late 1990s through mid-2000s.
CONDITION
Excellent overall. No remarkable damage to frames or upholstery; Chair is sturdy and comfortable in use. Carved details remain sharp; fabric is clean and bright.
