Fitz and Floyd Holly Wreath 41-Pc Christmas Porcelain Set, 1976

Fitz and Floyd's "Holly Wreath" pattern debuted in 1976 and became one of the label's most recognized holiday lines — the kind of table service passed down specifically because nobody wanted to be the one to break up the set. This 41-piece porcelain service for eight is fully intact and table-ready, decorated with a boldly graphic holly-and-berry wreath tied with a wide red ribbon bow. The hollowware — lidded teapot, double-handled sugar, and two creamers — carries the full wreath band; the cups feature an oversized bow wrapping the entire body. Undersides are stamped "Holly Wreath, Fitz and Floyd, Inc. © MCMLXXVI, FF" with original Japan foil labels present on select pieces.

The lot includes one lidded teapot, one lidded double-handled sugar, two creamers, eight dinner plates, eight salad plates, eleven saucers, ten teacups, and one decorative beaded spoon included as a bonus — origin unconfirmed, not original to the Fitz and Floyd service.

CONDITION

Very Good overall. Transfer decoration is vivid and unfaded, glaze is clean and bright throughout. No chips, cracks, or repairs noted on any piece; light surface utensil marks are present on some plate faces consistent with careful use at table.
