Mid-Century Modern Ceramic & Walnut Table Lamp, Drum Shade
Tall mid-century modern table lamp pairing a tapered, incised ceramic body in a creamy oatmeal glaze with a turned walnut neck and circular walnut base. The ribbed vertical texture of the ceramic catches light beautifully against the smooth turned wood, a hallmark of late 1950s–early 1960s American studio-influenced lighting design. Brass socket cup and three-way switch, retaining the original silk-lined drum shade with peach-toned trim.
CONDITION
Good and fully functional; tested and working. Ceramic body and wood elements present well with light age-appropriate wear. Shade lining shows staining, foxing, and a torn section to the interior silk as documented in supplemental reference images.
