Spaghetti Lucite Globe Swag Lamp — Mid-Century Plug-In Pendant
Mid-century swag pendant featuring a spherical shade of spun lucite "spaghetti" filament — the tangled translucent acrylic webbing that defined 1960s and '70s lighting design. When lit, the shade diffuses the bulb's glow through its strand pattern, producing the soft, ambient halo associated with conversation pits, dens, and dinette corners of the era.
All-original example, suspended from a brass-tone steel oval-link chain with matching ceiling cap and inline plug-in cord. No hardwiring required — hangs from any ceiling hook and plugs into a standard outlet, the defining feature of the plug-in swag format.
CONDITION Very Good. Fully functional and tested. Lucite filament shade is intact with no cracks, melting, or yellowing; brass-tone steel chain and canopy show light age patina consistent with original use.
