Mid-Century Modern Rolling Cart — Chrome, Copper Wire, Laminate Tray
Two-tier mid-century rolling cart with a chrome-plated tubular steel frame, removable laminate tray top with gold-tone edge banding, and a curved copper-tone steel wire magazine rack on the lower tier. Circa 1950s–60s, in the idiom of postwar European serving carts. All-original throughout.
Rolls on four 3" translucent plastic casters set in copper-finished swivel brackets. Versatile as a bar cart, side table, telephone stand, or record and magazine cart.
CONDITION Good condition overall and structurally sturdy. The laminate tray shows light surface scratches and two small rust-colored stains near the center. Copper-tone wire shelf and caster brackets exhibit oxidation and finish wear consistent with age. Two of the four plastic casters show chips; all four remain intact and roll.
