1964 Topps Beatles Color Cards — Lot of 40, Third Series
Forty original 1964 Topps Beatles Color Cards from the third and final series issued during the peak of American Beatlemania. Card fronts carry full-color photographs spanning individual portrait close-ups of all four members, live performance shots with the Ludwig "The Beatles" bass drum head in frame, beach and surf candids, the Pan Am flight N704PA tarmac arrival, a gold record presentation, outdoor group shots, and the distinctive cartoon "Beatle bugs" illustration card. Reverses are printed on orange stock with the bold "Beatles Color Cards" header, numbered Q&A exchanges in each Beatle's own voice, and "Meet" biography cards for John Lennon (#1), George Harrison (#3), and Ringo Starr (#4). All backs carry the ©T.C.G. / Printed in U.S.A. imprint consistent with the 1964 Topps Chewing Gum issue.

CONDITION
Good overall, consistent with a period-used collection — card faces present better than backs, with color intact and edge wear, corner softening, and scattered light surface creasing across the group, including one visible vertical crease on a Lennon portrait card. Multiple backs show paper loss, scuffing, and adhesive residue consistent with scrapbook or album removal, most notably on #3, #4, #28, #41, and #59; one back has a small paper peel exposing card stock beneath.
