Butterscotch Bakelite Lot — Drawer Pulls, Sharpeners & Dritz Tracing Wheel
An eight-piece grouping of butterscotch Bakelite utility items. The lot features five matching arched drawer pulls in solid butterscotch with original nickel-plated mounting bolts, suitable for restoring a Deco-era cabinet or kitchen drawer set. Two pencil sharpeners are included: a rectangular example with a stamped "HURST U.S.A." steel cap over a butterscotch base, and a round marbled Bakelite sharpener in swirled butterscotch, green, and tortoise tones.
The grouping is rounded out by a Dritz tracing wheel with a pearlized yellow Bakelite handle and serrated steel wheel, a staple of mid-century sewing rooms.
CONDITION
Good overall with age-appropriate wear. Bakelite retains its glossy butterscotch tone with expected light surface scuffs; steel hardware on the sharpeners and tracing wheel shows oxidation and patina consistent with use.
