A 17-piece service for four in Gorham’s “Chantilly” pattern, the most enduring American sterling pattern since its 1895 introduction. Each piece bears the maker’s mark “Gorham Sterling”. The Chantilly handle’s scrolled C-curves, ribbed shafts, and stylized foliate terminal remain immediately recognizable and continue to be actively collected and replaced. The set includes four solid sterling dinner forks, four salad/dessert forks, and five teaspoons, complemented by four sterling-handled place knives with stainless steel blades. Knife blades remain in their original factory plastic.
