Czech Art Deco Blue Pressed Glass Sugar, Creamer & Footed Tray c.1930s
Three-piece Czech Art Deco pressed glass tableware set in electric transparent blue. The covered sugar features a square paneled body topped with a stepped pyramidal finial, paired with a matching paneled creamer with applied loop handle and pinched spout. Both rest on a rectangular footed undertray with twin recessed wells, scrolled apron, four corner feet, and a pressed diamond-cane sunburst pattern across the base that refracts light dramatically through the colored glass. The square geometry, stepped finial, and applied handle place the set within the Sklo Union–era Czech pressed glass tradition, c. 1925–1935 — most likely produced by Stölzle (Heřmanova Huť), Libochovice, or Josef Inwald (Rudolfova Huť), the three major Bohemian glassworks producing Art Deco tableware in this exact configuration. Straw marks and small air bubbles in the glass body are typical manufacturing characteristics of Czech pressed glass from this period.
