Art Deco Black Glass Triangular Console Set — Center Vessel & Candleholder Pair
DESCRIPTION Three-piece Art Deco console set in pressed black glass, comprising a central triangular vessel flanked by a matching pair of taper candleholders. Each piece carries the same architectural vocabulary: a tapering triangular body rising from a stepped, ziggurat-style square base — a hallmark of late 1920s and 1930s Deco design drawing on Egyptian and Mayan Revival ornament. The deep gloss reads as solid black under normal light, in keeping with the black amethyst pressed glass output of the period.
The center vessel is shallow and tabletop-scale, suited to small floral sprigs, matches, potpourri, or pure decorative display. The candleholders accept standard 7/8" taper candles set into triangular cups.
CONDITION Excellent. No chips, cracks, or damage. High-gloss finish remains bright and consistent across all three pieces.
